Kupur — Privacy Policy

Effective 8 August 2026

Kupur is an iPhone app that turns the short news stories you write into a single-page newspaper layout. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the app and where it is kept.

In short

Kupur collects no personal data and sends no data to any server. The app makes not a single network call.

1. Data processed

The headlines and text of the stories you write, the photos you choose and your page layout preferences are stored only in your device's local database (SwiftData).

Only you can access this data. If you delete the app, the data is deleted from the device too.

2. Photos

Photos are chosen with the system photo picker (PhotosPicker). It runs in a separate process and gives the app only the photo you select; Kupur cannot access your whole photo library and does not ask for permission to access it.

The selected photo is scaled down along its long edge and stored in the local database. It is not sent anywhere.

3. What Kupur does not collect

No account, sign-in or email address is asked for. No analytics, advertising networks, crash reporters or third-party SDKs are used.

The app does not track you or your device, and the advertising identifier is not read.

4. Sharing

When you export a page you made as an image, that image goes to the app you choose (messages, email, a social network). You start this sharing and you choose where it goes; Kupur does not come in between.

5. Children

Because the app collects no data, it collects no data from children either.

6. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the effective date is updated. For questions, you can write to oguzberkacar@gmail.com.
